Per celebrare il centenario Meisterstück nel 2024, Montblanc rende omaggio alle origini degli iconici strumenti da scrittura in una collezione ispirata allo spirito dei Giochi Olimpici di Chamonix 1924. Per un colpo di fortuna, il 1924 segna per il marchio il lancio dello strumento da scrittura che si afferma come uno dei suoi capolavori più ambiti nonché i primi Giochi Olimpici invernali a Chamonix, ai piedi del Monte Bianco. Al centro, sia Montblanc che i Giochi Olimpici di Chamonix 1924 incarnano con i maestri artigiani e gli eroi sportivi la ricerca del miglior risultato umano possibile. L’edizione Classique è realizzata in preziosa resina dalla tonalità blu-grigio, che richiama il colore ufficiale scelto per i Giochi Olimpici invernali. Gli anelli olimpici sono parte del logo olimpico tradizionale, inciso sull’anello della parte superiore del cappuccio incorniciato da una corona di foglie, che richiama quelle offerte ai vincitori con le migliori performance alle olimpiadi nell’antichità. Il cappuccio è inciso con la scritta “Olympic Games Chamonix 1924” all’interno di una cornice ispirata alla copertina degli articoli ufficiali sui Giochi Olimpici. L’anello del cappuccio reca sia per “1924” che “2024”, emblema dell’importanza di entrambi gli anni. To celebrate the Meisterstück centenary in 2024, Montblanc pays tribute to the origins of the iconic writing instruments in a collection inspired by the spirit of the Chamonix 1924 Olympic Games. By a stroke of luck, 1924 marks the launch of the writing instrument that has become one of the brand’s most coveted masterpieces, as well as the first Winter Olympic Games in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc. At the heart of it all, both Montblanc and the Chamonix 1924 Olympic Games embody the pursuit of the greatest possible human achievement with master craftsmen and sporting heroes. The Classique edition is crafted in blue-grey precious resin, echoing the official colour chosen for the Winter Olympic Games. The Olympic rings are part of the traditional Olympic logo, engraved on the cap ring framed by a wreath of leaves, reminiscent of those awarded to the winners with the best performances at the Olympic Games in ancient times. The cap is engraved with the inscription “Olympic Games Chamonix 1924” within a frame inspired by the cover of official articles about the Olympic Games. The cap ring features both “1924” and “2024”, emblematic of the importance of both years. The Montblanc emblem on the cap top in coral precious resin, Montblanc’s iconic color, completes the edition.
