La collezione trae ispirazione dai primi disegni dei nostri archivi e dalle caratteristiche decorative presenti nelle prime edizioni Meisterstück, catturando lo spirito fondante e infondendogli un tocco di modernità. Il complesso motivo sul cappuccio, rivestito in lacca blu e platino, richiama un disegno mai utilizzato e rimasto nascosto per anni. Con questa edizione, la Maison ha avuto così l’opportunità di presentare questo design intramontabile, ispirato al periodo Art Déco. La clip è un omaggio alle prime forme di clip presenti in alcuni dei primi strumenti da scrittura Meisterstück, ed evoca un senso di nostalgia. Since its launch in 1924, the Montblanc Meisterstück has been considered the quintessential refined writing instrument, a symbol of sophisticated taste and a bold expression of one’s personality. Used to write a love letter or to sign a historical document, the Meisterstück has always left an indelible mark on the pages of history. To pay homage to this milestone, Montblanc delved deeply into its archives and created the Origin Collection, paying homage to the brand’s rich history and heritage. The collection draws inspiration from early drawings in our archives and the decorative features found in the first Meisterstück editions, capturing the founding spirit and infusing it with a touch of modernity. The complex motif on the cap, covered in blue and platinum lacquer, recalls a design that was never used and remained hidden for years. With this edition, the Maison thus had the opportunity to present this timeless design, inspired by the Art Deco period. The clip is an homage to the early clip forms found in some early Meisterstück writing instruments, and evokes a sense of nostalgia. Looking more closely, you can discover the original Meisterstück logo, which has adorned the cap as a symbol of high quality since its creation.
